Yikes this will be expensive for you...a large amount of companies won't go near you - try a website like go compare, will give you a more accurate answer.

You are going to find it extremely difficult to insure a Civic Coupe in your position. Most companies will flat out refuse you cover, and those that will quote you will probably be looking for several thousand.

Your best bet is to ring around and see what they say. Try some brokers as the main insurers wont be interested. Also try the likes of XS Direct; the excess on the policy will be enormous but it might give you an option to at least get a disc on your windscreen.

If Im honest though you would be as well to forget about the Civic for a few years until you get your full license and start to build up a clean driving record.

Forget the Civic tbh, Insurance companies are not stupid & they know damn well what cars are likely to be choosen by young inexperienced drivers and the Civic takes pole position.

With enough money, anything is possible. If i was 19 and had millions, i could get insured on a Veyron.

The only one there that would surprise me is the GTI.

The toledo would be slower than slow. A corolla would be another slow, normal car. Civic coupe on the other hand would be considered a coupe, and as such would cost a lot to insure. Also civics have a reputation with young fellas crashing them.

Smallest engine in the coupe is 1.6 SOHC. Could run you in excess of 3k

Friend of mine was got insured on one at the age of 19 no driving experience ect. Got insured through AXA for €1200 fully comp.

Go for the 1.6 LSi rather than the 1.6 SR Vtec. If you go for Vtec there aint much chance of getting insured
