masters degree application process

    Hi, Does any one know if you can be refused a position on a masters course if you meet the requirements i.e level 8 degree in specified area with grade of 2:1 or greater and there are positions available on the course? Having a bit of bother with my application at the moment and I'm not sure which way it will go.
