Just after the glen of the downs driving towards Dublin, on the left hand side of the dual carriageway behind some wire fencing is a collection of very tasty motors, generally a few ferraris and a bentley or 2.

Any idea what the story is, i would have thought that the ferraris should have been kept out of the rain in any event.

That's Paddy Connolly's yard AFAIK, those cars are for sale.

Pass there every morning. A sad sight indeed to see those cars sitting in the rain.

Think he bought a bunch of cars from one of the big closures in 2010-11.

Great spot but terrible facilities. If I was going to drop that kind of cash on a car I don't think I'd want to be closing the deal in the back of a barn.

It's the Irish attitude to cars right there.
Ah sure, it's only a car, me dad used to keep the aul' Eshcort in the drive, she'll be grand.
With that attitude they're probably serviced with a bit of 10w40 and some sparkers from the local motor factors.
I'd like to see his response when asked if it has a full main dealer service history with bills and receipts for parts and labor.

Whatever about the premises there's nothing back street about the cars this dealer sells top notch he also had a big fancy garage in ballina but not sure if he still has that ??? Think it's strange that he has no website , uses a house address in dublin to make people think he is based there and also that he opened up at the start of the recession and is still doing well selling high end cars when so many other dealers are dealing in more mainstream cars in order to survive ! He must be some sales man ! Know he was sales manager at burtons during the boom years and now seems to have gone up against them opening down the road from them !
