Second ATM/Debit on an account

I've been informed by BOI before that it's not possible to change a standard current account into a joint account. This has to be set up by calling into the bank, so myself and my wife haven't gotten around to doing this.

I would like to have a second ATM/Debit card on my account that my wife can use.

    Is this possible?

    Hi seamus,

It isn't possible to have a second ATM/Debit card on a sole personal account. However, if you have a BOI credit card, it is possible to have up to three additional cardholders with no extra Government Stamp Duty.

    Thanks for your query,
    Graham
