Guys, my dad has an iPhone 4 16gb. Out of warranty. But his mic has failed twice in the last month. First time, we had a new mic installed by a shop on Parnell Street and it fixed for about a month. Then it went again. We brought it back and the guys replaced it again on Sunday, and today it fails again! Could it be badly…

Guys, my dad has an iPhone 4 16gb.
Out of warranty.

But his mic has failed twice in the last month.

First time, we had a new mic installed by a shop on Parnell Street and it fixed for about a month. Then it went again.

We brought it back and the guys replaced it again on Sunday, and today it fails again!

Could it be badly made mics from the shop he is using or something larger?

Done a full restore this evening and set up as new phone, and hey presto, problem fixed!
