Dont know if this is the right place to put this but I wash the lurchersd and terriers twice a year at least and am looking for a new bath/bin for the job.I have barrells but they are too awquard and the dogs too big for geting them in and dunking.Anyone have any links to any form of bins ets that would do the job.I was looking into metal baths, the likes of what were used before modernisation and built in baths.so far this is the best ive come up with but before I buy Id like to know if anyone else has a better idea, thanks for reading.

Did you try adverts.ie ? Cast iron baths from €90, might be easier for washing than that tub you linked.

I know a lad who got a slightly damaged bath for €50 from a local bathroom supplier. He used it for wet suits but it could be as handy for dogs

Ive a cast iron bath you can have for free if you were able to collect it. Im in Dublin/Wicklow

moby thanks for the offer,I was hopeing for something less permanent and maybe moveable(with ease)i can get a bath here if I need to.I was thinking that the mortar bin is handy as they can stand in it and its up above their shoulders and prevents them from makeing a break for it,lol.I looked at the attic water tanks but their not the job.Invincible, never heard of that site before, will take a look now and see whats there.thanks everyone.

Why go to that expense - put them into the shower and turn it on and it'll be big enough to put in a couple together Once you've washed them, close over the screen doors until they've shock off and then bob's yer uncle!

Get one of these and take the angle grinder to it and cut it in half! Then you have two ideal dog baths!

I got one for free, and it fits perfectly into the back of the jeep to stop deer blood from spilling anywhere!

I wash all my dogs in the bath, using the shower. Easy peasy!

believe it or not we dont have a bath,it was the 1st thing we got rid of 23 years ago.shower only and its a fancy type and theres NO WAY the dogs would be geting in there for a wash, lol.my head would be on a platter:confused:.Patsat thats actually the kind of thing im thinking of,maybe castors on the end or sat on a wooden base with wheels, move it up and down the kennells if needed.thanks for that.

Step 1 - Throw stick into river so dog gets wet
Step 2 - Wash dog (you can get 100% natural shampoo if your worried)
    Step 3 - Repeat step 1

    :D:D:D

Result, happy dog, happy wife, happy you

:Dvery good steve.I shoot a few goats and they carry ticks and skin irritations so need a sheep dip or hibiscrub to wipe the dirty fekin things out of the dogs hair/skin.I like to wash em whenever necessary and the stuff left in the bath/tub/container can be used for their boxes too and kennels.I reckon I can get them free from my farming friends.
