    Hi guys,

I'm starting a plc course tomorrow.

I had to pay E255 some sort of student contribution fee, and there was another E200 to be paid, which was waived as I'm a medical card holder.

I've applied for BTEA but have no decision yet.

Can I claim back the E255 from anywhere? I need to spend over E1,000 on course materials so funds are tight at the minute.

I'm planning on applying for a grant later on today - dont think I'll get it, but I'm not too sure.

Is there anything else, money wise I should be looking at / applying for that I don't know about?

First time back in education and this is all very confusing at the minute. :o

If you get the btea you will get 188 per week plus a once payment of 300

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
