    There are a couple of free apps I'd like, but they're not available in Ireland. Want pandora and espn goals.

    I already have unblock-us to get the US netflix on my tablet, but it doesn't work for anything else

    I used superfreevpn on the recommendation of this forum and that worked for me.

    works like a dream on my S3. Have to access Play store via the browser as the app takes me to the local version, but its no biggie

    VPN on, market enabler set, clear market data, launch market, wait a good while, then boom. If it doesn't work open play books and hit store.

    You can use any of the free vpn service. There are a lot free services available in the market. Like, Hotspot Shield, proXPN, OkayFreedom, etc. All of these are free to use with servers in US. So a better option to explore all your favorite websites from any part of the world.
