It Carlow American football team?

    I've heard of an American football team called the Carlow chargers. Is this still an active team? If not, any plans to revive it?

    The chargers were disbanded ~2years ago as far as i know :(

    I don't think players would be an issue. It's coaches that's needed. I don't go to Carlow it but perhaps someone should enquire when they are in college?

    I know the guy who ran it 2 years ago (as he drgged me along to it) he is still in the college and I can get on to him and ask if he wanted to do it again

    A few mates and myself started it up around 5 years ago just training for flag football, then I ran it 2 or 3 years ago back, we were trying to start up a kitted team but the college were always working against us on it. The nearest team to carlow know is probably the South Kildare Soldiers in Kildare town.

    The college have a habit of going against sports or games they are not comfortable with.

    Can't believe the chargers are gone!!
    Was there when it started up, was great craic of an evening :)
