    I've been told that first years don't go to lectures because of black Monday is that true ?

    As long as you're not to pissed I'd suggest going to your lectures as generally it's where the lecturer will provide a module outline and provide important assessment information. Considering there's no bar on campus tomorrow it's going to be a pretty shíte black monday.
