Hi, my external temp gauge start to report crazy low temps recently, so I guess the sensor has gone, car is a seat altea Tdi, anyone know how to replace this.

It's behind the lower grile, I think you can access it by removing the front fog light.

I think they are around €35 from a dealer.
Ebay have them for around £10
