    hi everyone, having recently visited normandy to see the historical sites and monuments of d-day It got me thinking about the movie the longest day. does anybody know if this is available in colour on dvd? any info would be great thanks.

    I ve seen it in colour but it was a horrible version of the original B&W movie.

    It was on telly mind you, and personally i much prefer the original .

    I agree with Owryan.
    I have seen very little of the coloured version as can't watch it for long.
    There is one scence where khaki coloured Allied forces are closing on a pillbox and all that the viewer can see is a green cloud representing the group of individuals soliders breaching the German lines.
