Hi, my Webro satellite cable, dish and other receivers are all ok, yet there is a no satellite signal being received message. I have FTA sat receivers and Freesat receivers and all are working fine. I take it that these old Sky Pace receivers will still work without a viewing card for the FTA channels? Maybe the box is faulty? I cannot even get in to the services menu, it won't allow me to do this. Any ideas please? Thanks. :) Could it be that a card is still needed for the FTA stations?

Jaysus, there are still oul 2500's on the go  :pac:

Their tuners had a fondness of failing. Happened quite a lot of them infact.

Thought that it may be the tuner module. Previous tenant left it behind, no wonder. :D

Have you tried unplugging it from the mains for a minute or so then plugging it back in for a full reboot? That usually solves a lot of Sky box problems.

Yes, I tried that several times but no luck unfortunately. Thanks anyway Cartoon_Head for suggesting that. It is probably kaputt.
