Does anybody else here love rock and roll and '60s music?

I'd like to put something together with people interested in similar music. The aim would be just to enjoy playing these songs and then maybe trying to do something similar by writing original songs in the same style. I'm thinking about '50s stuff songs like Lawdy Miss Clawdy and artists like Buddy Holly to a range of '60s stuff from the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Stones, Hollies etc. etc. I'm thinking of a garage band with a simple early rock, proto punk sound.

I'm in my 20s, based around South Dublin play some guitar and can travel. I have some experience as a lyricist with material actually recorded and released (by others).

I'm interested in getting together with any musicians guitar, bass, drums, keys etc. and singers.

Let me know if you are interested in this kind of music.
