I have a 02 mondeo that the fuel pump has just died in ..nct is also out. What option would you go with A) fix fuelpump and nct and sell (could cost a bit ?) B) sell for parts or as a repairable Which do you reckon would be better ..bearing finance and hassle in mind? thanks guys

Your probably better off to sell it as is rather than putting more money in it. Unless you are sure that once you fix the fuel pump it will pass the nct. As if you have to spend more for the car to pass the nct you just won't get it back. In this case I would just sell it as I'd not much point in pumping money to it if your selling it anyway.

is it a tddi or tdci , if its a tdci its not uncommon for the injectors to give trouble if the pump has worn out pumping small fillings through the system.
