Taxing online pin number

    Hi guys i have just taxed my pajero online,for the 1st time the renewel form came with a pin number to renew online is this a new thing been rolled out or a mistake??? Its gone thru anyway so happy days,jeep is taxed & insured 310 tax for the year & insured fully comp at 355 with axa happy enough:D

    I've been taxing my car and tractor online for a few years now. I preusme it's the same for your jeep.

    If your D.O.E/C.R.W is in date (valid at time of tax renewal) you will get a pin if its not you wont and will have to produce D.O.E/C.R.W at tax office to tax it.

    Its the 1st time i have ever seen the renewel pin since a started to drive a commercial about 5yrs now. I was sure you couldnt tax a commercial online but guess i was wrong all these yrs haha

    It pays to keep everything in date, local tax office to me (Cashel) has found another excuse to make life difficult otherwise.

    If you've had a commercial off the road for a while and the DOE had expired, the tax office will now give you another form to take back to the DOE tester to fill in to say that you trailered the vehicle to the testing station along with what the reg of the towing vehicle was. They won't hand over a commercial tax disc without it :rolleyes:

    I had this happen a couple of weeks ago as I am in an office in one area the Vehicle Reg Certs are held in another office anyway I got the Tax sent to me for the Van and as its part of my job spec to get the DOE done for all the vans I han not done the DOE for this one so it was a mistake by the tax office if the DOE is not in date the Vehicle should not be on the road and the Insurance will be void just be careful as this might turn out to bit you if you dont have everything up to date.
