Spider vs flies

    I’m having a moral dilemma.

Up until a couple of weeks ago I was a Nazi when it came to hoovering up every spider in the house. Out of nowhere I grew a guilty conscience (and a fear that I would end up in spider hell in the next life). So I left them to it.

I noticed over the last couple of weeks there’s one little feller who’s catching a lot of blue bottles and dragonflies. (I thought he was having sexy time with another spider until I took a closer look and saw he was wrapping up a fly). He’s getting a good feed.

I don’t mind flies because once I open a window they’re gone and I don’t have to kill them but now because I let one spider live, I’m letting lots of flies die.

Not a life changing decision but I still feel bad. So which do I save the spider or the fly?

Fly spray works on both flies and spiders indiscriminately ...

The spider of course - don't you know its bad luck to kill one? Besides they kill lots of other creepie crawlies about the place(not just in the house but anything creeping in the window too).

there was huge spider in a drawer yesterday and he was running around too quick to catch, i didn't want to leave him in there so i thought i would make him leave by spraying lighter fluid in the drawer.
Apparently lighter fluid instantly turns spiders into frozen dead spiders.

    then i ate ice cream

I think the spider is the only one with the bad luck in that situation:P.

Spiders are cool. Kill the flys, annoying buzzing bastards.

I dont mind spiders at all, if there was a huge mofo in the house i'd chuck him out the window or something but wouldnt kill them generally, daddy long legs and flies though? splat.
