ACCA diploma

    Hi

One of my colleagues is doing an ACCA accounting diploma which is basically F1-3 like this course http://www.ibat.ie/store/product.php?id_product=73

I am an ACCA student just starting my exams, my question is will I get a diploma after the first 3 exams, or some sort of competence recognition? or will the only recognition I get be when all my exams are done?

I ask because I don't know if I will complete all the ACCA exams, although that's my aim, it would be nice to have a limited competency in accounting to fall back on

I presume they still issue certificates if you complete a level.

With ACCA you can get an accounting technician level qualification, BA and MBA as you study for your ACCA exams.

Btw, just saw the link you posted where it cost 1,200 to study for the first three exams. Wow!

I'd advise people to self study for these exams and save a grand.

That's crazy money! No wonder they have the "pay deposit" button.. probably to snare people who didn't do their research.

I haven't even heard of "IBAT" and probably wouldn't go with any organisation that makes a mistake like this:
Also note this course is eligible for tax releif at the standard rate.

Yes, I started off doing CAT with ACCA a few years ago (completed 8 of the required 9 exams for CAT), was taking my time, but in the meantime rules have changed, I was awarded exemptions from F1-F3, BUT I had to do an online professional ethics module and my printable Diploma was awarded 5 minutes after completing it!:D (On Friday) I assume I would get an original in the post.

    Hope this helps!
