Chinese Tourist Visa - Change of Travel Dates

I had originally planned to head to China at the end of this month. However due to reasons beyond my control I'm going to have to delay my trip for about 3 weeks.

Now, I've already gotten myself a Visa, and the visa itself only says that one can enter before such-and-such a date, and then stay for a period of up to 30 days afterwards. My delayed travel dates don't violate anything in that regard.

However, the information that I would have supplied with the Visa application such as the inital entry date, and the flight details are now different.

Is this actually a problem? Am I required to get a new Visa or something?

I gather one isn't locked into the itinerary you provide with the application, but it seems hard enough to find information about this online, so I thought I'd ask here.

Give the embassy a call to confirm. They only take phone queries between 3pm and 4pm Monday to Thursday.
