I currently have a Dell inspiron which is on its dying legs. I just need something that will do the basics-play you tube(this one always had problems) do facebooking , photos storage and transfer, skype(never worked) ,kids games and watch movies.Sounds basic but this Inspiron couldn't fulfill all of those functions all the time. I don't need high tech office apps its basically a social /leisure use.People say go for HP.? I am open to anything I am not up to speed on all the tech talk I just want a good deal that works! Any help appreciated..

Member for 3 years and this is your first post?? ;)

Well, if people say, "go for HP" and your budget is good for €515, there's a decent offer at Argos.

On the other hand, some Core i3 laptop for less than 450 yoyos should suit your needs just as well.
