I think its great to get friendly games against teams you don't normally play against. Its gets a bit stale playing the same teams 3 -4 times a year, and us Connacht lads love…

I think its great to get friendly games against teams you don't normally play against. Its gets a bit stale playing the same teams 3 -4 times a year, and us Connacht lads love getting into more civilised & developed places!

Hi there,
We were discussing fixtures this morning for our underage team. There is huge difficulty in getting fixtures and getting hold of the correct person in other clubs.
Would it be possible or something the IRFU could look into to put a forum on their website, organised by age group. With contact details of contacts for the teams in the category. Then have a forum were teams could post that they are looking for a friendly at a certain date, and let other coachs avail of these games.

Some weeks we need a game and would have a pitch available, and other weeks we want a game and have no pitch so we would be prepared to travel.

There would be a big of set up required at the start, but this resource would be invaluable to coachs at all levels of the club game.
