as an ex DFB man I told friends in the states and on the continent about it and told them to watch it on rteplayer,but could some one in the know explain to me why its not available outside Ireland, ie restricted so i can explain to them why

It's for the precise reason that Hulu is blocked to us. It's all region locked, which is relatively stupid.
