My attempt of a Keg Dispenser. Got wheels to push it around and have a mp3/cd player in for a little bit of entertainment.

Looks a fantastic little set up, fairplay, I would love something like that but why oh why did you make it a tiki bar lol

Will you leave that cooler on at all times when there's beer in the kegs? I think they take about 12 hours to chill down from being switched off.

TIKI BAR........ something different from everybody else.Still have to make the roof for it but that will have to wait a bit.
I switch it on about 15 min before my first pint and off after my last one. Will test the temp fluctuation on it and report back on this.I had it running last night without using it and it seem to switch off when the water get cold enough.

The only place I've seen those chillers is sometimes under bars for Heino/Bud ice cold taps and from publicans who rent out a keg, tap, cooler set up for house parties. Obviously in pubs there left on but for domestic use the tap and chiller is normally set up the day before/early morning so the cooler has time to chill. If you only have to turn it on 15 minutes before serving thats brilliant, I was just wondering.

Yeh it switches on and off to maintain temp, their noisy little things aswell. Be sure to maintain the water levels in it and look after it, they can go dodgey fairly quickly from what Ive seen.

I too use a 2 line beer cooler, takes about 30 mins to get serving temp cold. They can be quite noisey too. I like the setup rats, I have something similar with reed screen around mine, it's so cheap and really makes it a lot different.

In fact I think we have the same cooler.

Yeah it's a nice cooler. Didn't realise homebase did them. I got mine second hand. Here's a pic of the bar from a few months ago. I have added some more taps since. I'll take a pic when I get home and upload it later.

Knew I meant to come back somewhere with a recent photo. As you can see I do need to put a second screening around to fill in the gaps. I don't mind as it's only a small expense but I will be moving soon so all things beer related are on hold for now. From an angle or at normal standing height it's not really an issue luckily, the camera flash makes the steel frame stand out but it's generally a non issue but one I will rectify when I move I guess. Also have to finish off some tube tidy management, most likely will run some insulation fabric with all the tubing tucked in nice n neat and out of sight for the most part. Of course the last pic is the obligatory shiny kegs pic.
