Need to tune in Beko tv (No remote)

Hope this is in the right place....

I have a beko 22wlm550d lcd tv in bedroom
Sky+ in sitting room, with a Magic eye connected, and working fine.

However, i need to tune the Beko tv in to the required channel for the Magic Eye to work in the bedroom, and I have no remote control.

I've tried any number of combinations on the 4 buttons on the side of the TV, (pressing two together, holding one down, etc. etc.)

I can get a remote online, but it'll take about a week, and it's €25 that I dont want to spend, tbh.....

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

You'd pick up an all 4 one remote in many stores (large Tesco and Argos for example) under a tenner.

Failing that have you tried googling the problem?

Ah yeah i know that, but will those remotes let me do the tuning - i'm not so sure -

I've also tried to get the Sky remote to work on it, and i'm stumped.

I wonder would there be any point changing the Sky box output channel & see if you get lucky? Was the tv ever tuned into analogue channels?

Have you attempted to see if you are lucky and it is already tuned to one channel between 00 and 99 already?

    Yeah, tried that.

But you can only change the sky box to output between 21 and 69 or something, and the only channel that's stored on the tv in that range is being used by another tv station, so the picture is unwatchable.

Disconnect the aerial in on the Sky box. The interfering local signal should go away. Not ideal but may do until you get a new remote.

Some old VCRs have more options of channel numbers, but that would be messy setup.

There is nothing connected to the aeriel in on the sky box.

Lidl have all for one remotes that work better than the others, you can even tune in a tv with them,I have one that I use on a portable that refused to work with any other remote.I saw some in Lidl the other day so worth having a look in your local store, plus you can tune it to work your Sky box via the magic eye as it can handle numerous devices.
