Does anyone know why channel 225 , crime and investigation is not included in the Digital Max package. It's not movie , sports or HD , so which genre does it come under ?

No. And today I realised even though it says you are not subscribed to this channel, it is still listed and will tell what programmes are on it on the box upstairs but doesn't seem to exist at all on the box downstairs.

Sorry Sunny!! I read your post above as is it a hd channel

is the box downstairs record and the one upstairs a non recording hd box with no hd subscription?

As Sunny has said ch 225 (crime and investigation hd) is a HD channel. Without a HD subscription you won't be able to watch.

This has always mystified me. UPC only broadcast Crime and Investigation Network in HD even though an SD version exists and is on Sky. Now I'm not particularly a fan of crime drama, so it doesn't bother me so much, but I've always wondered why they did a deal for the HD channel but not the SD version (which is on Sky). Weird.

OP - I've renamed this thread. Practically every thread in this forum is about UPC in some way so better to make it more specific.

    ;)

It does seem stupid not to have the channel in SD , wouldn't bother me too much either not to have it but they show Hardcore Pawn and I love that show , yes I said Pawn :o
