    Hi,

I'm trying to rent a van to bring to the UK. Only need it for two days but everywhere needs the driver to be 25 to insure them (I can't get my own insurance so need it with the rental). Anyone know where I can rent a van if I'm 24 years old and need to bring it to UK?

    Thanks!

Best of my knowlege you can't. You have to be 25 to rent a car or van in Ireland.

    Open to correction though.

Sorry, also meant to say it might be an option to see if you could rent one once you get to UK? Not sure what their policies are but they may have a lower age limit :)

Thanks for the reply. I'm moving to UK so want to bring my things over from Ireland. Would be a long trip if I did it that way but suppose it's an option thanks. I have access to a van it's just that no insurance company in Ireland seems to do temporary insurance for vans either.

Thanks for the idea, turns out I'm old enough to rent a van on the UK and it would the same number of trips and is slightly cheaper even with the bad exchange rate! Thanks :)
