I would like to draw people's attentions to this up and coming swim, all proceeds goto charity.

The cup is named after a good friend of mine Bert O Brien. He will probably swim it as well. It's open to everyone including swimmers who aren't in a club. If you want to get your feet wet and your swimming log off the zero mark then this is for you...it's a fun swim, but there is a lovely Perpetual cup to be won for the winner. It's only 750meter swim parallel to the shore.

More details below.....Turn up, pay what you want for the charity and go for it....

That is great, so close and along the coast. Where can I sign in? ah, I've just read it again, before the swim.
    See you next week then!

    Hi

    Thinking of doing this!

    Just a few questions:

    Can you register before Saturday?
Do you have to wear a wetsuit or can you just wear togs?
Is there a cut off time that you have to complete the distance in?

    Thanks!

    Register on the day
No mention of wetsuits not being allowed (but if you win they may not award you cup) its a fun swim at the end of the day and a charity fund raiser...
Ask the organiser on the day about cut off time. The race is handicapped and they do up the handicap on the day...
