People in my course asking if they just show up for lectures next wednesday or whats the story, some thinking they need to re-register, i assume you just go back in as per timetable?

Look at your wall in your school. Should tell you a room to go to. They brief you first etc.

Would the start time be the same as whatever your timetable is for that particular day aswell? Ours is 10 so wondering if we just turn up at ten. They really dont do a great job of telling us anything.

I've never gotten a timetable before college starts. Always just go in in the morning. I don't think it has anything to do with start time.

i.e it could be 9 am civil 2nd year, 10.15 civil 3rd year etc.

I'm going into 4th year and we've never had meetings/briefs, we've just shown up for our first class on the timetable. Usually someone goes in the day before and let's us know!

The timetables should be up from monday (if not already), so just call into the college and check the timetables/course board. If you've registered go to the IT centre and get them to scan your card for your new pin, and sometimes if you're nice they'll print off your timetable for you if you're not registered.

Ah ya i have the timetable and was gonna just head in as per that but i'll head over in the morning and check the board now too and see if there are any specifics.

Went up this morning, no notices up on any board, asked in the office and told you just go by timetable. No briefings etc.
