Think that was registration times timetables not the actual course. If you go on to the website and click the registration banner it gives more info

Do you remember where the timetables for your course were put up in first year incase of changes? Check there first, or ask at your school's office (science/business engineering etc) and see if they can help.

Can timetables be checked online ? Told us first years to check them every friday after 3 for changes. But its only available in college.

Will they be available through blackboard at any point or is every student gonna have to go into the library friday evening to check the damn things ?

You might need to check them for the first two or three weeks while they iron out any potential clashing of lectures, nothing to worry about as timetables for first years can be a bit all over the place when college starts up. You can check them online when they are published on Blackboard. There is a timetable section there, as well as other links including student email, online library etc.

The timetable link doesnt work outside the college though does it ? I havent been able to access it outside college anyway.

So I assume its only available while connected to the college network.

It normally works, but it does take a few weeks to sort out, which is the reason you would have been asked to check them on a timetable board somewhere each Friday after 3 until it's sorted. Give it three weeks or so, it'll be grand by then.

Might it be worth letting someone know ? Because that link works in the college and hasnt worked outside it since I heard about blackboard two weeks ago at this stage (as i checked it off and on).

You could be right there Scioch, it could well only work in the college this year at least which is utterly ridiculous and defeats the purpose in my opinion.

The idea of having the timetable online is that if your away from Carlow for the weekend you can keep an eye on any changes that may occur.

Now it may be more by accident rather than design but they only make exam papers accessible within the college also so you'd have to wonder
