Post Root Canal

I had a root canal finished off on one of my front teeth yesterday evening and when I had a look at it today I noticed a horizontal line running through it that's only visible when bringht light is shone on it. Anyone know if this is normal or should I be worried? I haven't been able to contact my dentist yet. Thanks.
