Blurred desktop background

    Hi guys
    I transferred some nice pics from a dell inspiron 1720 screen resolution 1440 by 900 to my e machines notepad screen resolution 1366 by 768 maximum.Tried to use the pics as a desktop background,quite blurred.Any suggestions on how I can resolve this matter?

    Probably has to do with the Span, Stretch or Centre options. You should be able to adjust them in the desktop settings under Appearance. Don't know exactly on Windows, I use Linux.

    if you want to use the attached image as background, I'd say it will be very blurred indeed. ;)

    213px × 159px doesn't look great at 1366x768. Did you transfer the thumbnail rather than the image itself?

    First I put the image through Google Image Search, then I grabbed the 1440x900 version and resized/cropped it to 1366x768.

    IIRC, it's one of the old Vista Wallpapers, no?
