Help With Bank Of Ireland Loan

    Hey ,

    I'm just trying to gather some fact about getting a student loan to pay my fees in college

    1. I repeated 1st year the cost were 6 k I've payed off a little over 3.5 k to the college , I must find the other 2.5k before october to continue my degree

    2. I've been a member of Bank of Ireland for 4 years , never had any loans or overdrafts ect generally had only 100 quid in the account though

    3. I won't be able to get a garenteer as my parents couldn't deal with additional costs if things go arse ways

    4. I'm 21

    5. I'll be hopefully getting part time work , had a job over the summer hence paid off 3 k , but the job ended early


    So I'm looking for any one who has been in a situation like mine , whether ye got a loan and what did you have to organise with the bank if ye did

    Also which bank do i go to , the one on campus where i live or the one in my home town ? Problem is that once i start college I will only be at home the odd weekend


    Any help would be appriciated , getting kinda worried :eek:
