After Effects wont ram preview sound?

    just got a new system and put AE on it. Everything is good to go as normal but when I ram preview, theres no sound! Strangely enough when I hold ctrl and scrub I can here the audio, but when I ram preview, nothing, even though I can see the meters jumping. Could this be a driver issue? All the usual boxes are ticked in AE..

    This is normal. I can't quite remember how to fix it, I think you have to pre render it first, or something. But defo. not a driver issue.

    To preview with sound I think you press 0 on the number pad but you'll only get a 10s preview
