Hi all. I was wondering if you can help me. If I am on Grafton street or in St. Stephen's Green what bus do I take to get to Ringsend Road? Whats the closest stop from Grafton or St. Stephen's Green to get there? Thanks!

Walk down to the Screen Cinema and you can get the 1 through Ringsend and into Sandymount or the 56A and 77A from the same stop will get you as far as Ringsend Bus Garage.

As previous poster said, the bus shelter beside the Screen cinema (behind Pearse St garda station), make your way down Grafton St. and then take a right around Trinity (College Green, not Nassau St.) and it'll be on your left past Doyle's pub.

The 47 also brings you down through Ringsend. This leaves from Fleet Street, quite close to The Screen cinema on Townsend Street. It's runs hourly, so not as frequent as the 1 or 77A, but it will also take you to Ringsend.

1 or 77A from stop 340. As the previous posters said, it's near the Screen Cinema. The stop is actually outside an ugly office building called College House which is on Townsend St. beside the cinema and behind Pearse St. Garda station.

On a short trip like this, it will depend somewhat on where exactly to where exactly.

It may be useful to head for Pearse Station instead of College Street.
