First Year access to DCU Apps?

Tuesday night I registered up to "Step 7 : Proof of Registration". All that's left to do is pay.

However, I can't log in to DCU Apps. It says that it takes 24 hours until your email is accessible, but when I put in my username/password, I get directed to a blank white screen. Different browsers all do the same thing.

    Anyone else having problems?

same thing happened to me, it would not work on safari, but it worked on google chrome which i find really irritating because I always use safari and now i have to switch just to check my email!

I got in using the same password and username for registration, finding a browser that worked was another challenge!

The easier way to check your email is by clicking the link at the top of every page for 'Student Email'.

Considering they run a course called comp applications you'd think theyd know how to make a decent website..tricky to do much and lots of the links then have don't even work!

Hmm, same problem here, tried all versions of IE I could, google chrome, firefox; no joy until I tried logging in on the browser of my android phone, clearly a big issue here

Same problem with moodle, accessible via phone however

Even downloaded Opera Browser, no joy either

    For email just type in:
    login.mail.dcu.ie
    It works with any browser.

I'm using chrome and mine works fine now. It says when you register that it takes a while to get up and running - be grand!

That just brings up the login page, still returns the following:

Notice in the bottom right hand corners of each lecture, it should be 1-6 and 7-12.

That means you have Lecturer A for the first 6 weeks of term and the lecturer B from week 7 onwards.

Probably your account is not active yet.
When you register it takes a few days for your account to be activated (DCU account), then it has to be activated on Google as well as DCU apps are actually Google apps (2nd account on Google).
Even if your DCU account is active your email/app (Google) account could be inactive for some time (they need time).
If it's not working don't worry! When you're collecting your student cards your accounts will be checked again so everything should be fine.
Just wait and eventually it will work, it's just a matter of time.

When you're fully activated everything works, I have IE9/Chrome/Firefox and they all work perfectly with DCU Apps/email.
    I'm in my 3rd year.

I dont care much to be honest I know it will sort itself out, just thought there might be a browser issue due to the fact I can access it on my Android phone

EDIT: Discovered the reason, AVG Do Not Track was blocking cookies, moodle needs cookies enabled, problem solved!
