Surprised I haven't seen this here yet.

So, I'm guessing this is essentially the X100 replacement. It's pretty much an X-Pro1 without the optical viewfinder.

I may trade in my trusty X100 for this depending on what the price is like in €€€. I've been impressed by the X-Pro's sensor and the 35mm f1.4 prime is fantastic by all accounts. It would be nice to have that combo in such a small, lightweight package without the cost of the X-Pro. The new EVF is apparently much improved over the previous two cameras so I think I can live without the OVF.

Anyone else in the market for this?

Looks really nice, might be looking for something small to carry around

it looks like a slightly more angular olympus elp or whatever they're called.

This is available to buy now from a few HK online stores/ebay. There's a kit available with the 35mm f/1.4 lens for under €1200. I think I may just take the plunge at that price :)

I prefer this new x-e1 to the x-pro1, a smaller less obtrusive body, clearer evf, with built-in flash, external mic jack.
