Need a bike for L'Erocia in October. Will be touring for a few days either side. Will consider just a frame/fork.

Nice one, what distance are you doing?

The fully distance sounds like a real back breaker.

Have no bike for you sorry!

Enjoy the grub, supposed to be savage

What size do you need. I have a 54cm Peugeot Dolomites from 1987, Reynolds 531 professional tubing with Campag Victory/Triomphe groupset, hubs with Mavic rims.

It'd be aTurbo saddle on it rather than the Selle Marco pictured.

Very nice. I'm looking for something in the rane of 300-500 e so that would be well out of budget! Thanks for the pic tho!:pac:

Just out of curiosity how are you training for it? Forest road or what?
It's on my bucket list, only heard of it during summer, the grub would get me over alone!
If you do it in 12 hrs you get a hamper!

You might put up a post of how you got on when you get back.

I'd imagine do a bit of research of tire and wheel choice, suppose to be rough on rubber!

    Enjoy

I race on the road so I'm already pretty fit. Actually taking all of September off stuctured training. Just plan on rocking up and doing it.

If your anywhere near Waterford, head down to Curraghmore estate in Porlaw, they have a "lovely" 2 mile section through estate which would be good surface to get hang of surface.

I was actually going to throw it up for 500. Should have added that the brakes are Campag Chorus.

    Ok so I'll offer 400;)

I'm spinning about on a 56 cx bike now but I think 54 might be pushing it. Where abouts are you based?

I couldn't lt it go for 100 sorry.

Size wise. I usually ride a 57 and this is a alittle too small for me, you can see I have the handlebars twisted a little higher than they should be, and it's still not comfortable.

    I'm in Dublin 9.

    Hi amjon,
I've a Peugeot carbolite 103 racer/ tourer up for sale here or on adverts for a while. You're welcome to borrow it if you're stuck. Its a 60cm and will take 28's easily enough which might be a good idea. I'm pretty sure most of it's pre 1987 apart from the aero brake levers which are early 90's and a new saddle. The cxp33 rims might be a little more recent too, not sure. A little search will find it if you want to have a look
