I needed a house certifying for ESB to switch the leccy back on. Rang around about 8 different Waterford based electricians. Each wanted on average €250 to do it (one guy quoted as much as €400). Then I found Jason, of JPL Electrical. He's in Grange Manor. He only wanted €120 for the job. Came on time and was spot on. I've since used him for other jobs in the house too and he's always obliging and reasonably priced. His number is 0878109492. Website. If he asks, Ben at Kilcaragh Village.
