Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey there,

I know this is not 100% the right place for this but I've had zero response from the bands and musicians forum.

Looking for like minded classic rock, blues rock and blues fans to meet up every couple of weeks to share our mutual love of this genre plus jam out a few tunes.

We're talking Derek and the Dominos, Faces, Free, Any blues, Stones, Allman brothers etc.

Nothing serious but hopefully we could make this a recurring jam session.

I'm 34 and I play guitar and would love to meet up with like minded bass, drums, keys and other guitarists...

Drop a line here if interested.

29 y.o Bass/guitar player here. Been playing guitar for 10 years and bass for 2. I'm in a band at the moment but have been trying to get a blues thing going for quite a while now without any luck. I'm big into Rhythm and Blues, folk, cajun and soul. Here's the people whose sound I'd be most interested in:

    Buddy Guy
    Rory Gallagher
    B.B. King
    Joe Tex
    Misissipi John Hurt
    John Lee Hooker
    Chuck Berry
    Albert Collins
    Otis Redding
    Frank Sinatra
    The Travelling Wilburys
    Muddy Waters
    Elmore James
    Howlin' Wolf
    Nina Simone
    Fleetwood Mac
    John Coltrane
    Allman Brothers
    Bob Dylan
    The Yardbirds
    Woody Guthrie
    Ray Charles
    Charles Mingus
    Janis Joplin
    Lead Belly
    Pete Seeger
    Bluesbreakers
    Hendrix
    Mamie Smith
    Buddy Holly
    Cream
    Gary Moore
    Willie Dixon
    The Drifters
    The Band
    Stevie Ray Vaughan
    Seasick Steve
    Dizzy Gillespie
    The Temptations
    T-Bone Walker
    Bruce Springsteen
    Billy Holiday

    And plenty more.
