    Engine is the l series, more or less troublefree, 4 wd system has major weaknesses, if you've comne across a 2wd one some of them have already surfaced.

    Lot of them have the rear prop removed because the owner won't shell out for a new VCU or IRD after ignoring the warning signs. Left with a 2wd with slightly dodgy handling on loose gravel.

    Sadly, Land Rover now build 2wd Evoques and Freelanders to keep there overall emissions figures down :rolleyes:

    went and looked at the landrover today pile of dung turned me off altogether wouldnt get one now if i got it for nothing
