Wouldn't it be easier for the TSA to screen all the foodstuffs that are taken airside instead?

The TSA are hilarious. But what if the terrorists are hiding their soda bottle......"lets make everyone wear hospital gowns when travelling. No where for those pesky terrorists to hide now!"

Tsa re flight crew are fine in the big hubs. Don't have to unload liquids etc.

Takes the hassle factor away. As for being a pax, one giant pain in the whole.

TSA seem to equate shouting loudly as being efficient .

I remember the last time I flew out of the US ( Newark ) they had TSA people walking up and down the security line SCREAMING at the top of their lungs.

It was horrible and TBH , very ineffecient ,because you could not hear a word they were screaming and all it did was make the Americans ( who seem very confused at security things ) very uneasy and they tended to panic.

I wonder how long it will before the US Authorities will "create an incident" in a terminal building or on-board a plane to justify these checks. :)

I really can't be bothered going to the US ever again. What's the point when travel has become this ludicrous.

And this is just the start of it.

TSA has now spread its tentacles to include bus and train stations.

Next it will be the supermarket mall.

Surprising that the owner of the camera didn't get the full internal examination treatment for daring to film that!

could it be that this is not a normal practice - they just discovered a momentary security hole? For instance, maybe some doors were left opened or something?

Photographing TSA, airports, train stations, police and security personal with smart phones may be soon become a thing of the past.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
