Just wondering where people tend to put this.

Personally, I put it up behind my rear view mirror. The logic to this ? The mirror is already blocking off part of my view so what difference does it make if the holder is also up there. All about maximising the clear space on my windscreen which I can see through.

On the other hand, I've been told differently by Gardai. I've been told by one to put it in the bottom left hand side so not to obstruct my view (this actually reduces clear area on my windscreen).

Another told me to put it in the bottom right hand side (complete and utter idiot in my opinion).

Where do you please your tax and insurance holder 17 votes

    Depends on the car.

totally depends on the layout of the vehicle , we have some bottom left, more top left.

Some people put it on the back of the sun visor. Then when they park or are going through a checkpoint, they flip it down. Some guards will say have it in x place but AFAIK you just need to be able to display the discs through the windscreen. Where they are displayed is up to you. I could well be wrong tho of course.

Bottom left, as far down as possible, hidden partially by the wiper. If its top left I'll relocate it

I tried that for a while, but after mounting dashcam I had to move them back to the windscreen, as dashcam is preventing my passengers sunvisor a small bit from fully opening.

Now I have my discs in the top passenger corner of my car. I've seen many people have it there, so I'm surprised this option is missing in the poll.
