    Its all rather nuts.

Scunthorpe United boss Alan Knill tells BBC Radio Humberside how getting "hit by a squirrel" whilst cycling has put his side's recent poor form into perspective.

Knill says the squirrel got caught in his wheel, which resulted in him falling on his head but the United boss say he is lucky to have only suffered bruising rather than a broken collarbone, or worse.

Was hoping someone threw it at him instead of him just hitting it with his bike.

    How disappointing

Yeah it says in the article he was lucky to only have bruising,

Lucky Squirrel, let's hope he doesn't take up hitting cars as his next hobby.

What a sh1t story anyways, must be a really sleepy place Scunthorpe, what with squirrels having to resort to hitting cyclists for excitement and not much else must happen for this incident to be used for putting things into perspective.

Delighted the squirrel got mangled, little rodents annoy me these days on the golf course, can't leave the golf bag unattended or else they'll climb in to have a root for food leaving god knows what sort of disease behind. Cull them all!
