Hi there, I'm currently on Job Seekers Allowance and get €188 a week.
I recently interviewed for a part time job and am very hopeful i might get it, however i wanted to know what would happen if this was the case?

I know you can work three days and still get your JSA, but is it reduced?

Part of my hope and aim is to work PT and keep my JSA but also try and move out (at the moment i live at home) with my partner, does anyone know how this would effect my JSA?

Would I be means tested again and have my JSA reduced due to my partner having a full time job?

How would Rent Allowance fit into this?

I know these are a lot of questions but any information you have would be very much appriciated!

Yes your JSA will be reduced. You would be means tested if your circumstances change.Moving in with a partner with full time work= new means test.rent allowance not available to those who work full time.

As you are getting JSA now,if and when you get a part time job you will be means tested on the earnings from same, which will result in your JSA being adjusted accordingly.
