Take Aksiums or upgrade?

Changed my road bike in late April, but the wheels gave a bit of trouble.
Shimano WH R500 were stock wheels on bike.

The shop have agreed to replace with similar, I have asked for Aksiums and will get for no cost.

Was wondering should I throw a few quid with them and upgrade to Ksyrium equipe or similar.

For background, I don't race, 7-8 100 mile sportives a year, with similar long distance solo spins and the usual training spins.

Reliable wheel is my key consideration.

    Thanks in advance

Can't get much more reliable than Aksiums! The Ksyriums would be a little lighter.
