    hi all,am new to boards.ie.i am seriously considering getting liposuction done on my tummy(4 kids later!)i am quite fit,i run 5k a week,did all the gym stuff,but still look like i,m pregnant!i am just wondering is there anyone out there who had it done & what do you think?thanks

    never had it done before and wouldn't recommend it. It is really expensive and
    Generally only people that can get lipo is people that are suffering from really bad health issues and are extremely over weight

    You would feel better about yourself and see results if you stick at the gym and change to healthy eating.

    If you are slim everywhere else except your tummy, it could be that your abdominal muscles have not knitted back together after pregnancy. (Try poking with your fingers along a line down the centre of your abdomen and see do your finger sink deep into the flesh along the centre of your tummy) If that's the case then as far as I'm aware surgery to stitch your ab muscles together is the only option. I'm no doctor but if you're considering surgery, you should look into this possibility too.
