What the consensus on Davis Loves picks for Ryder Cup?

    In D.johnson,S.Stricker,J.Furyk and B.Snedeker.

    Missed out - R.Fowler,H.Mahan,N.Watney

Personally feel he made a mistake with Furyk as his Ryder cup record is not great and has blown it under pressure a couple of times this season.

Mahan would have been my 12 man.

Anyway it's still a very strong yank team and should be a great battle at the end of the month :0)

Would go along with Mahan -

But even with that error. USA will win it by > 4 pts. Could be a good lash.

A real concern that GMac is gone a bit off. He is a key Man.

I think he got the picks spot on.

Johnson and Snedeker are in form and Snedeker is top of the strokes gained putting stat which is key.

Stricker had to be picked a he is a good partner for Tiger and putts brilliantly.

Furyk has a lot of experience and even though he blew those 2 tournaments he was still up there challenging. He also had 5 out of 5 points or something in the last presidents cup. He can still play at the top level.

Hunter has no form. He was top of the ryder cup points after the masters and then didin't qualify so that shows you how much his form has dropped!

Rickie has not had a top 20 since May or something so again no real form and I think it was just too late for Watney.

You know its a strong team when the likes of Mahan & Watney don't make it. I really do think Europe are up against it, they'll need the vast majority of the team to be on top of their game imo, if its like 2008 and only a few play well then it will be a similar scoreline.

    Would have Watney for Fuyrk.

    Should be a cracking competition.

Good picks, had there not been so many rookies then Fuyrk would have been past over I'd say.
Lining up for a good weekend of golf, feeling the US will win this one for some strange reason
