Not sure if I am eligible for the maintainence grant.

    Hi there.

I am not entirely sure if I am entitled to the maintainence grant this year. Basically I deferred Semester 2 of my course due to extenuating circumstances, but withdrew that application in order to be able to repeat over the summer.

I've completed my repeat exams and CA work, but I know for certain I've failed 2 of the 6 modules that I was repeating. Where I am studying (ITB) you are able to carry on two modules and progress into the subsequent year provided it isn't an award year. I'm a first year student.

I've received the grant for last year. I also received the renewal form for the grant over the summer, and have filled it out and sent that away a few months ago. I put down that I didn't pass my end of year exams, and that I'd send a transcript of the results as soon as they are available. I'm wondering that if it comes to the worst and I do carry on, would I still be eligible for the grant.

Many thanks in advance to anyone who replies. :)
