Ailish Smith Compensation Case

    On August 8th 2012 the High Court awarded Ms. Smith €375,000 for sexual assault by father. This case was widely reported in the media. I am currently searching for the actual judgment of Mr Justice Eamon de Valera given in the case.

    I have looked at courts.ie and balii but nothing for this case has been uploaded. I have read the many newspaper articles but would like to read first hand the judgment.

    If anyone has come across the judgment or has any idea where I might be able to track it down I would really appreciate it.

    Judgement usually has to be typed up and checked by the trial judge before it is put up on Courts.ie or Bailli.

    there may be a copy earlier in the Law Society Library or Bar Library. You could ask a solicitor or barrister to check
