    Hi there,

If you are just visiting around in UCD, where could you have a great cup of coffee within the campus? On the other hand, if you happened to be with a 10 y.o. son, would there be something he could eat, drink?

    Thanks a lot!

    JC

I'd say Costa but it may not be open yet, but it was part of the
Readers Deli under the Library. Starbucks is in the Quinn School of Business but same with the opening. I don't know if I'd call the other places so 'great'.
As for feeding a 10 year old, you'll find plenty of things. Plenty of the students will have the same eating habits. :D

Try Café Brava in the old student centre. Decent enough americano, tasty enough food, and pretty handy location.

Apparently the shop in the ground floor of the physics building does the best coffee in UCD

Pretty much everywhere's open, provided you're there at a sociable hour. I'd say either Starbucks in Quinn, of whatever the café in Arts is called these days would be nice and centralish places to go, but I don't drink Coffee so I can't attest to it's quality.

What about Pulse in health sciences? I don't know about the coffee but the food is nice IMO. Better than the restaurant and bar anyway.

I haven't tried all of the new UCD venues but Readers coffee (Costa coffee) is better than anything that was here before.
